A haunting first-person horror game, The Joy of Creation: Story Mode is played through the eyes of Scott Cawthon and his entire family. Scott Cawthon is the creator of Five Nights at Freddy’s series and you can finally understand in this game why the last game in this series was canceled.
In this game, you can take control of the different members of the Cawthon family but the actual game begins when the parents of Scott Cawthon let a stranger inside their house at night. As soon as this happens, the family starts getting haunted by the Five Nights at Freddy’s animatronics and have to solve various puzzles and games to survive the horror.
In the first level, you take control of the character of a young boy and you need to perform different tasks like switching off the lights, lying down, and so on to keep the animatronics away from your cot. But after this, you can take control of different characters as the scare factor increases and the game becomes harder.
The Joy of Creation: Story Mode is actually a terrifying game that is scarier than the Five Nights at Freddy’s game series as well. You also have several secrets and unlockable modes to experience in this game if you want to challenge yourself a bit. Although it is a fan-made game, it is quite polished and detailed and is easily on the same level as other horror games on the Steam.
